Congratulation to Jeff Kocsis on the release of his signature Animal grip. He came through and gave us some fire.
What started out as a conversation between Jeff Kocsis and Ralph Sinisi about what makes a grip good vs. what makes one bad brought about the best in design, comfort and performance with the Jeff Kocsis Signature Grip.
“We started by looking at other grips and what not to do,” said Jeff. Ralph gave Jeff the freedom to work on the design. The result is a grip “that feels soft and cushy, buy really allows you to get a firm hold.”
The design is a ribbed pattern with high ridges for a thicker feel. Every third ridge is even higher and wider than the rest. These deep ridges allow moisture to fall through while allowing air to ventilate the grip keeping it dryer. The compound provides for a softer feel that contours to your hand.
The 160mm length allows for greater bar coverage and the mid-sized flange helps with control without being in the way.
In addition the grip comes with the Sewer Cap Bar End with medal insert to provide added durability.
The Jeff Kocsis Signature Grip is available now at animalbikes.com, your favorite shop or mail order.
Available in September – The new Jeff Kocsis signature grip. Featuring a soft ribbed pattern, mid size flange and comes with the sewer cap bar ends. Available in 160mm length.

“Hey everyone just wanna say in advance thanks for taking the time out and reading about my bike and why I ride what I do…..
My bike has been split perfectly into two of the most respectable hard working companies in BMX, Animal and United. They produce toughest and most durable parts that do not sacrifice style.
I ride the United Region frame 20.75. I was given the opportunity to create the decals and color way for this year. The whole project from start to finish was surreal for me. Along with that excitement, I have been testing out some of Animal’s newest and best parts to date. The 165mm Akimbo cranks feel unstoppable. Lightweight, but tough for the next generation. The infamous GLH tires are a constant and flawless even after 14 months of abuse. Last but not least my signature grip that will be available later this year. We worked hard to bring out one of the best new grips in the market. Hopefully everyone will love the soft simple grip as much as I do.”
